Roses Bloom

Love red roses…
when I got this bouquet of red roses, I was on a roll and started to paint them
in different vases and angles. Initially I was not too jazzed about the colors of my background, but I let it sit on my easel for few days; and it kind of grew on me. Do you feel that a different colored background
would have worked better? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Single Bloom

My kind hearted friend loaned me this cute turquoise mini vase. Isn’t it adorable? I thought it was just perfect for my single bloom that I had seen on my patio. Although, I still think I should have done this painting on a slightly bigger panel. Anyhow!!!
