Eggplant and Garlic - SOLD

Sometimes I can spend a lot of time thinking of a subject matter to paint, but not with this painting. I had worked on a painting earlier that day and had just enough time with daylight to paint a small one. I saw the freshly bought eggplant on the kitchen counter and there was no second thought on what to paint. Hence the eggplant and garlic composition fell in place.

Boats in shade

The subject photo I took for this painting was taken a local marina. The rays from the sun and the shadows of the trees created a play of light and shadow on the covered boats. I quiet like that and I tried to capture the calm peaceful time in the shade.

Chocoholic

6"x6" Oil on 1/8" smooth finish Artist Panel

  Moist cupcake, with chocolate icing topped with dripping Chocolate Ganache, with a cherry just gingerly sitting on top. This painting is in honor of all the chocoholic out there. I decided to get a little top view of this cupcake place on a napkin, as if one can't wait to dive in to taste without having to wait for the formality of a plate or fork. Happy shopping!!
